Food Network Groups

VV functions as one large neighbourhood food network by helping foster community food resilience.  Our members are active throughout neighbourhoods in Vancouver, with a common interest/love for food. The VV Neighbourhood Food Network works on projects, coordinating gardens, seed saving, hosting workshops and having fun! It’s all about strengthening our local food webs while coming together around food. Examples of VV Food Network activity include: putting on the Westside Food Festival, workshops on Brewing Homemade Kombucha, Growing Your Own Microgreens, and making Kimchi, and community potlucks! VV is an active member of Vancouver Neighbourhood Food Networks, a group of 15 different Food Networks through Vancouver.
